In amongst the mania of final deadlines and festive shopping, it’s important to take stock of the year that’s passed and to ask yourself what you are grateful for.
I am very grateful for FinCommunications’ third year in business. Like any new business, we’ve had our ups and downs, but the fact that we end the year far stronger is something to celebrate.
I am grateful for the diverse group of clients who have adopted our FinCommunications’ vision. And I’m equally appreciative of the incredible work put in by our growing team of talented graphic designers, coders, and copywriters. Together we achieved some great things this year.
We’ve had the opportunity to rebrand two very different clients. Niche hedge fund manager AIP Capital Management set us the challenging but rewarding task of marketing their complex product offering directly to consumers. See their new attractive and educational website which explains how their hedge funds work and why man-on-the-street investors need them.
On the other hand, Adam Bacher & Associates’ online presence didn’t bring across the personalized and heartfelt nature of their offering. So, we created a slick and soulful website which hammers home their emotional investment in every client, while leaving the reader in no doubt of their credentials.
We’re also putting the finishing touches on a coffee table book about the personal and business journeys of South Africa’s top advisors. A grueling but rewarding project which has taken all year and involved countless flights around the country.
And, of course, our mission to transform the way the FPI is seen by its members and the public continues apace. We’re arranging presentations at universities to encourage commerce undergraduates to become fin planners and we’ve also secured prominent and ongoing media space for the Institute.
Everybody loves recognition, especially if it comes from one of the most respected names in the business. Allan Gray has included FinCommunications as one of their recommended marketing suppliers– a heartwarming vote of confidence in our quest to change the way financial services are marketed in South Africa.
Now that I’ve said my bit, it’s your turn to tell me what you’re grateful for…
Wishing you a safe and happy holiday that leaves you refreshed and ready to tackle 2020!
